STUDENT SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT

Learn from student and community change-makers in the Shenandoah Valley

Hosted by MBU Net Impact and Sustainable Shenandoah Valley, this event offers the chance to learn about the undergraduate research and initiatives, as well as 

networking opportunities with local businesses, nonprofits, and social/environmental enterprises.

The primary focus of this summit is to showcase projects that relate to one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We want to facilitate connections between local organizations and students at Sustainable Shenandoah Valley member institutions - Blue Ridge Community College, Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University, James Madison University, and Mary Baldwin University - to celebrate the initiatives that already exist in the arenas of social and environmental impact, and inspire attendees to create their own.
